If there is anyone who would like to be featured on the video and would like to come to my studio in Las Vegas for a weekend, I have a video crew ready and waiting. No pay but full promotion for you and your music.
You can bring your MPC2500 or use mine...
I might also have one coming out for every piece of gear in my studio
EG: K2000, S5000, etc...
Hit me up if you are interested.
Working on one for the Yamaha MO8...

Filthy Mack has volunteered to do the 2500 vid. We are just ironing out our schedules and budget...

We were going to release a series of at least 4 different videos based on skill level so I guess here is the opportunity for everyone to chime in on what you think a new MPC2500 should know on Volume one...and volume two...etc...
Every contribution will of course be acknowledged on the video credits.
Thanks for your interest and help.

I'm not trying to sh*t on anyone's little venture but why do you guys feel the need to watch somebody else banging on the machine we all already own?
How much is there to really know about an MPC?

I'm just saying...what is it you feel a video can show you that a manual, this board and good ol' time spent on your machine can't?

I understand what King is saying. But you have to understand that some people learn differently.
Some learning styles:
Visual - learning by seeing, reading, etc...
Tactile - "hands on" approach
Auditory - hearing instructions, lectures
or a combination of above
The video will incorporate all three.
It is a tool that will be able to teach people on their own terms or time frame...without the pressures to do a "SEARCH"
It is meant to complement this forum, not compete or replace it.
I'm not expecting it to make money unless someone like Hal Leonard picks up the distribution but only time will tell...
Again, thanks in advance for any input or cooperation
