Honestley guys, I know that when your SOLELY in it for the money, you don't fo far. But i would like a more steady income from my music. I'd love to just burn my beats for every artist and get my name out, but then I have to worrry about people stealing, and taking credit for something thats not theirs. I really want to get my name out. Im about to make flyers when my website is complete: http://www.fireproductionz.com

I basically just want some feed on the topic of distribution. I DONT copyright my shit, not that i don't want to, i just get confused when it comes to the samples. [/b]

Yo, watch what you say :? People are always watching, keep that shizz on the low. Thats a weak link in your game that must be corrected. You've just given cats an open invite to jack you. I see from other posts that you making some money but a comment like that will have you hustling backwards. Cats know your production name and I assume thats your face on your avitar. Copyrights aren't that difficult :!:

FYI I'm speaking about this business of music we are all in and no particular person on this sight :!:

Where this is a will there is a way.

Some people out there are always looking for the quick buck
and no work involved. I've heard one of my tracks on another site
a while back. Looped and chopped up. I didn't let it bother me though.

If you don't want someone to take your stuff don't put it out there.
THEN you don't get the exposure though. choices choices.... lol.

Copywrite your stuff. Then put it out there.

Exposure will always bring in the money if you got the talent, in the right place at the right times, know some of the right people or are extremely lucky.

IF you plan to make money off of ANY sample of somebody elses work then you need to pay those people/come w/ a royalty agreement of some sort or you will face legal action if someone catches you with their work.

Obvious stuff, you need to get permision from the original owner of that sample, most likely payment to them in some form is gonna come into the picture.
