ok so i just got my 1K yesterday and of course i started messing with. i've been reading the manual for about a week (printed it from the internet) and i've been able to do everything i've tried so far. obviously i'm no expert at it yet but i got the basics down (sampling, sequencing, etc.).
here is my quesition. i saved a song both as a SEQ and a MID. now when i save it as a MID it says "MPC1000 specific events are losed". OK. so i transfered it over to my PC. it's a MID file. how the hell do i get it to play now. i have FL Studio 5 and opened that file but no sound is playing. i played it using Media Player for shits and giggles, of course it didn't work. but i did notice the part i sampled is not playing, but the parts were i used the pad are (doesn't have the same sound but i can hear the pattern i used). i just want to get this in WMA/MP3 from so i can start using it w/ my Serato.
someone help me. i'm thinking i need some program to get this to work. HELP!!!
