ok..ok..i was thinkin about installing one. Is it just for reading or can you burn on it aswell? Is it woth the puchase?

The CDM25 can burn audio CDs on CD-Rs and CD-RWs. It can also read CD Rom, DVD Roms, and audio CDs. You can sample from audio CDs or load an entire song off a commerical CD.

How exactly does it read DVD's?
I mean... if theres a sample on a DVD that I want to use (i.e., some vocal dialogue from a movie, for example), how would I be able to load that directly through the CD drive?
I mean... I obviously could plug my TV player into the Ins on my MPC and do it that way... but, if I could just load it via the burner, itd be a lot easier...
