i have an issue with my 1000 when i sample into the machine, and play my samples over the sequence the machine seems to cut the sample on its own. when i play the pad with out the sequence the sample seems to play as a whole, its only until the sequence is played does the sample "cut itself" or abruptly stop. any info on this would be greatly appreciated,
thanx

had the same problem yesterday, and someone hooked me up so I guess I should return the favor. Your program is set to mono meaning that it can only play one sample at a time. Change it to the alternative, and you should be ok

i know how to change the sample to mono/poly can you let me in on changing the program from or to this mode.
im hoping this changes somthing because this is quite frusterating, and ive gotten a response from others on different forums, siteing i might have a ram issue, and my fingers are crossed that i dont,
your advice is greatly appreciated thank you

First page of the 1000 forum, thread named "How do I get my sounds to play at the same time?".
Take some time, search (in this case browse a few threads down) before you ask something basic. This has been up over and over since the OS 2.1 release, even so everyone seems to think they are the first ones, get all hyped up and demand a quick answer instead of searching.

Go to PROGRAM -> PARAMS -> and on the upper right corner you can choose MONO or STEREO, choose stereo.

This has been problem to some people mostly after the OS upgrade, cause when you make a program using the slice function, it will make it as a mono program.

Can´t be the MONO / POLY setting of the program then as the function wasn´t available in earlier OS.

But answered your question, didn´t it?

Check how many voices your seq use. And by RAM issue, do you mean a corrupted RAM expansion or too little RAM mb-wise?
