MPC 2000 No system file, error message

Can anyone tell me why, when my mpc 2000 boots up. It reads the zip drive, It reads the 1.72 version, but it won't complete the process. It gives me a error message. It reads " No System File". Can anyone help Me ASAP! Thanks.

Is your OS on a floppy?
If so, take the disk out of your zip drive?

Install the OS on a New Floppy Disk. Sometimes the disk get unreadable by the MPC.

Exactly, don't think floppies are immortal. Floppies have a limited lifespan.

if it says no system file, then you probably need to download the os again.
