MPC compatible w/ protools?

i hav an mpc 1000 i was wondering if it is compatible with protools or any other software programs. i was also lookin into a M-Audio Project Mix I/O Control Surface so if any knows if an mpc is compatible please let me kno

what do you mean by compatable

are u asking if u can record into the program ? if u are u can almost with any program out there and as u know u need either a soundcard or interface

You can sync ur MP with Pro tools via MIDI, specifically MIDI BEAT CLOCK. this way you can start, play, f-forward, f-backward, and stop protools and ur MP simultaneously...

Also ProTools and the MPC both have S/PIDF ins and outs...

I find the sync option helpful when i want to sequence out side the MPC...
