A GOOD MIXER FOR THE 8 outs?

im lookin for a nice mixer for my 8outs,can you guys drop sum knowledge on this question...PEACE

For one, your gonna need one with 8 Ins (minimum) Id say go bigger especially if you got modules or wanna buy some soon. If you can stretch it 14 will hold you for quite a while but I spose 12 will cut it. I doubt you'l find yourself using all 8 outs at once very often. (Nb - Get as many MONO IN's as you can - All if you can)

Depening on how you doing your thing....Busses is likely to play an important role in your choice of mixer...The more you got the better (A wise man once told me). You'll need those so you can assign/group particular tracks onto a sub fader and bouce it down into your PC's souncard. For instance a mixer with 4 Busses will allow you you to record for seperate tracks of audio at once (Incase you aint sure, busses are the additional faders over in the right hand corner of the desk by the master out fader(s)....Look at a Mackie 1604VLZ pro to get the picture...What Im saying will also become clearer that way too.

Have I lost you...Im not sure how much you know about this area so I'll stop there and continue if you ask again.

As for manufactuers..Hmmm, Ive heard so much....I think the real quality lies in the sizer of the mixer...There are various issues that often seperate a good mixer...For instance....Hiss - You dont want too much of that.... EQ is also another factor....3 band with sweep is what you you wanna be aiming for...Some manufactuers EQ is said to be sweeter than others but again I haven't used em all....Mic Preamps and the quality of em.....Annnnnnnd as mentioned above, BUSSEs. What I suggest you do, is read up on a few mixers within your budget, shortlist em and ask for guidence from there. At the moment, its a bit open to just suggest a mixer out of the blue.

ok.see right ive got 6ins by alesis.it has sum good fx on it for recording..but thing that i dont get is that if the in is mono i can still run one of the outs in there even though its not stereo?cause mixer 1 and 2 has one 1/2 inch in.the rest are3/4 5/6 which is l and r.so are u sayin i can plug one out in the l and the other to r and still mixe.i mean wont i hear the sound assign to that either left or right...........i mean bascially all want for now is a decent mixer to eq make beats sound really nice and clean and leveld.i dont really need to burn them on to seperate tracks in to my multitrack soft.i dont really get down like that when i mix.it takes too much memory..so maybe i need like 12 in mixer so i can plug my outs in and still have room for mpc.keyboard and mic and thats it..can suggestion and good mixer to accomplish this arounf 300 price range?

One of the Soundcraft Spirit Folio mixers, or the Alesis Studio 24 would do.
