Hard Drive Probs

Was working in my studio last night and after a couple of hours of tweakling beats went to save entire memory to my hard drive. I created a new folder to save in then my mpc froze. Not too much of a problem because I was only tweaking stuff so not too much time wasted but when I go back in to the hard drive to load and I scroll down to the folder I recently created (obviously its empty because it crashed before saving any stuff in it) and scroll back up through other saved bits it shows ALL my folders empty of any info!!!!!! Until I exit and go back in, then things seem to have returned.

I have tried to delete the offending folder of via the USB connection but it didn't work. (I only tried it once or twice but will try again later).

Is this the beginning of the end for my hard drive or just a bug of some kind????

Any help appreciated.

infamous "new folder" bug. try creating your new folders before starting your project. it's a real pain, but akai will fix it.

go to my Profile and click FIND ALL POST, and somewhere there will be the thread about what to do about the hardrive, im not going to explain it because im sick it typing right now. Piece
