Sorry if OT: anyone got an SP1200 OS disk or image?

I have 1.1. i think the last was 1.2 or 1.2b? Anyone got this? I read it can't be imaged on a PC (I'm on XP) due to various whatnot and blah, but now there are those image apps that bypass all that mess maybe it will work? Tried the yahoo group, no dice.

I have the 1.6 OS disks...at least I think so? I'll check when I get home.

i think its 1.2, but anything later than 1.1 would be most appreciated. If i get my hands on one i'm gonna try and upload the image if it works - using one of the apps on this crazy list http://www.fdos.org/ripcord/rawrite/

I think 1.2 is latest, but do correct me if I'm wrong cos I'll want 1.6 too!!!

Just ask someone to format you a floppy or buy a floppy from eBay.

It's been a month since you first asked for the disk, and it's not like it's something hard to find.
How bad can you need it?

i don't understand your angle. i have 1.1, i would like 1.2. you can't find 1.2 on the internet as a usable disc image. disc imaging apps for XP now exist that i believe are capable of allowing a usable image to be upped. this would benefit the many, not just me. unless you are offering to image 1.2 and host it, your opinion is irrelevant.

You are not going to get or find an image for obvious reasons, but that's a whole nother story.
So if you need/want the 1.2 you should have asked someone to format you a disk.
Asking that in the SP forum would have gotten you a floppy from someone close to you with no effort.

My opinion was not an opinion it was simply stating an obvious fact.
Ask for a floppy 5 days you would have one.
Ask for image 30 days nothing.
That's the relevant point I was speaking on.

what obvious reasons? why could it not be imaged? what do you know that you aren't telling?

what is obvious? you haven't explained anything, you have just alluded i am in the wrong place asking for something i will never get, with no reasons given as to why

well as i have said a few times - the point is to try and get this image public domain, to stop me or anyone else ever having to ask this again

The latest OS is 1.2b. Theirs no further OS additions beyond that.

I presume you haven't got a backup? That was the first thing I did when I got my SP: work out to back the software up. I've got 3 OS disks but only one in use the other 2 are back ups
