unknown echo or feedback

When I press this pad once for a certain drum it repeats itself two times. I checked the sound in trim and the wave looks like only one kick is suppose to be there..

It could be as simple as some dirt under one of the pads or it could be that the membrane underneath your pads might be on the way out. It seems like the stuttering is caused by a bad contact in the membrane.
Does this happen on all pads or just one? Does this happen all the time? Does the problem become more noticeable when you use the Full Level switch?

Learn how to hit the pad and get off of it.
Tap it and get your fingers off of it quickly.

It's pad 11 that was doing it earlier, my suspicion is that it was something to do with midi. I took the metal casing off yesterday to install a card reader possibility it could be dirt. I tried pushing the pad at various pressure levels and the echo seemed to mimic it. I think it only did that for a certain program .pgm loaded. Meaning there's some type of setting that you can apply to the machine to make it do that?

If it's only that program, then maybe an effect or something with that particular program.

Unload the sample on that pad, save the program. Load the sample back up and save the program again with the pad in there again.

Loas another sample on that pad and see if acts the same way. If it does then it's the program or effects.

turn the effects off and see if it does that.

zero the params on that pad and see what happens.

think of every little thing and do it.
