Stop sample for playing

Hey guys,

slowly getting the hang of my new 2xl, one thing i can't seem to work out though is when i record, say if i want to tap a 2 second sample twice quickly the first tap keeps playing, and obviously sounds like crap. how can i set it so that the first pad hit stops once the pad is hit again.

eg a sample that says "hi there". i want it to go "hi-hi there". get me?

Try turnin it to "NOTE OFF"

Works really well, playing around i begin to wonder can i press the pad and let go, sample keeps playing, press it again and it restarts.

at the mo it stops when i take my finger off the pad, which is all good, just curious.

By reading the manual under "programs"...

Just messing with ya, but it is the best advise i can give ya though...

For now i'll tell you= instead of "note off" set it to "mono"... off u go....

Untill i get my s5000 sampler that's one off the things i really miss on the 2kxl (had the 1000 first). ONLY 2 MUTE GROUPS! DAMN! two weeks to go.... hahaha
