adjusting the pads

hey there everybody!
was working on a track on my 2500 last night
& I found that the pads sometimes dont seem 2 trigger right (not sensitive enough).
like when i press 1 pad, then move 2 another, it wont play!
I tried adjusting them in the OTHER menu but, no luck.
so if somebody has an idea would be great,

Have you checked the polyphony/monophony-settings in the Program menu?

Or maybe the "Note on" is activated...
