Man... I just bought my piece last week.. finally sat down yesterday and played with it all day.

At some point, I played in a sample from my comp that was reaaaly low... some old joint or something... and when I was looking to trim it in edit, I found normalization... hit it.. and all of a sudden, my shitty, low sounding sample was all nice and beautiful...

LOL. Now, normalization isnt a groundbreaking thing or anything. But, having it right there as a standard edit feature was nice as flowers as a surprise.

Just felt like sharin that.

Is it not on the 2000XL?

Must admit it is a handy feature, especially for archiving vinyl etc

Yeah, it's a good feature. I hated it when I was sampling on my XL then end up "clipping" towards the end of the recording.
