Memory problemz

I recently installed 32 megabytes. It seemed fine at first cuz when I go to the sampling screen it tells me that I have 32 megabytes installed. But today I was loading sounds from floppy to save to zip and as soon as I load about two floppies(2MB) woth of stuff it says sound dircetory full 128 max. It seems to be not seeing the memory for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated.....and yes I did search first.

Im not sure if you followed any directions while installing, but use this as a reference.

I recently had this same problem. Sometimes when you install the memory and set the unit back down it can jar the sticks a bit. Try re-installing them then before setting the unit down, load your samples and see if you still have the problem. If you do then your like me, I ended up having bad memory ports and needed to send my MPC back to Akai. If the problem persists, contact the shop where you purchased your MPC and let them know whats going on. You may have bad ports too.
