my MP isnt readin the floppy disk. any tips?

no matter what kind of floppy (old or new) when i load it, it has question makrs next to "type". Is there a certain file needed on the floppy to allow the MP to read it? Is there a special program needed? Oh yea its a MPC 2k-XL.. thanks for the help in advance.

what type of files are u saving? It can read .wav and .snd files.

formate the floppy using ya MP,
ya mpc can only read wav, snd, pgm, asp, mid. files
makesure u aint tryin to load mp3's into it

WAV's need to be 44khz, 16bit.

i got wavs on the floppy. the sample rate is a factor also??
