Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I HAVE A NEW MULTI CARD READER. WHEN I WHENT TO INSTALL IT I NOTICED THE END GOING TO THE MPC DID'NT FIT.(IT WAT THE RIGHT WITH BUT ONE HOLE WAS FILLED IN) DOES ANY BODY KNOW THE RIGHT CABLE. I'M GOING TO COMP USA. I HOPE THEY HAVE THE RIGHT ONE.

u have to make one urself from an old pc cable.... shops don't have those.... I fitted a cardreader in like 2 days ago. Just follow the steps in this link:

it's pretty easy, just take the time to do it! Lett me know if it worked!

ps. I hope u bought the right cf reader, not all of them work.... u knew that right????? 8)

the problem is the card side is missing the middle pin but the mpc is not. I did search (after posting) the forum and found I can use a strait forty to a forty with no closed holes. will this work? the cable that came with the card reader has one closed hole on both ends and would not fit on the mpc board and I did'nt think I should puncture the closed box. I 'll try CompUsa
