I've seen a VS1880 for a good price and think i'll pick it up then.
I was going to get something to track into Cubase like a Yamaha 01x but i didn't realise you could mix in these boxes. I'd like to do as much away from the PC as possible if i can help it.
Could i midi up reason and record a track straight into one of these? Or would i still need to sample the outs of my soundcard into the MPC first?
Either of you have experience with the 1880? The 2480 is over 3 times the price of this one so out of my budget at the moment and i can't find any 2000s for sale.
Thanks
No problem ne time. I have owned the Roland VS-1680, 1824, and now the 2000. THe 1880 and 1680 are pratically the same jus the 1880 has two extra tracks i believe. But you will be happy with it bu t make sure it has an effect card installed in it. The VS does have MIDI. If you make a beat in Reason but want to have all the sounds in your VS you can record from your PC to the board. Let me know if u still need help o something explained.
