How many of you would like to see an MLAN Board for the 4k??? for those that dont know MLAN is a format Yamaha devised and it is basically a Firwire option they sell for their samplers, keyboards and DAW's.
It Carries 16 channels of Audio and 16 channels of midi ,which would be great because us 4000 users wouldn't need one of our midi in ports for that, then we can hook up another controller like Kenton control Freak.
And let us not forget MLAN doesn't have any of the stupid problems we run into with ADAT option installed and can hold a much higher bandwidth.
BTW I have been Beta Testing 1.51 and so far so good!!! Sync is working good and so is 16 pad tunings, plus the new mixer is tight I'd like to Thank David Whittle and Sean W. for keepin me in mind and also for doing their best to help us with their hands tied behind their backs from Akai Pro Corporate!!!!
