saving mixer settings?

hey guys just been trying 2 get all the different parts out of the 8 outs, have been able 2 get it all going sweet but when i save all programmes & samples, all seq & songs & finally the entire memory it doesnt save the mixer settings??

with my 2000xl it just saved the mixer settings along with the samples & sequences

i had a thorough search through the manual & also these forums & have had no luck, any ideas?

If you change the Input Thru to On does that get saved? Cause I think Input Thru is a Mixer Setting.

What are you noticing doesn't get saved? The output assigned to each Pad I presume.

What about level and pan etc - do them get saved?

You need to save an APS Project File and an All file , then load both and that should restore the entire set of PGM,SEQ,SNG

I thought the mixer settings were part of the program?

dablunt: i will try changing the input thru & see if that saves, atm it isnt saving anything 2 do with the mixer, levels, pans, outputs, nuthing

zam: i have been saving its as a project file, but wot is an all file? this could b my problem?

k i tried saving the project with input thru on & it does that, but it still deosnt save the mixer settings?

i just tried saving it with the 'record mix changes' 'on' & that dosnt do it either?

any other ideas?

more importantly has any1 actually successfully saved the mixer settings on the 2500 b4?

k figured it out

when saving the project i needed 2 have the replace same files set to yes 2 get the mixer settings saved with it,

You still should save as an all , it's in the manual.
