I'm leaving for the summer and need to put my stuff in storage...I don't think my dad is going to let me store all of my stuff at his house so I need to get a storage room. I'm not rich so I was just going to get a $50 a month basic joint, but all that is, is a garage with no climate control and I know it can get hot in the summer.

Do you think the records would be ok if they were stored in crates sitting vertical? Not stacked flat on top of each other? Any other advice or opinions would be welcome....thanks!

should be straight, just let em breathe. dont stack too many inside each crate so theirs no pressure. it should be cool. if it isnt 100+ degress every day. the pressure part i think is the most key when storing records. and that their not leaning or tilting, warped a bunch of records like that.
