What are the major differences? I have a triton studio and some good songs on them as well. Do you think these songs would transfer to the "new triton" or is it a whole new PCM sound set?

I think they took the triton, but all the PCM boards already installed, hence the extra PCM memory and added a few new sounds, USB support, and that Valve Force. I would not trade my TS for it though if I were you...Just buy the boards.

it still cant fugg wit a motif ES..and that Tube is just a 12AX7...it is whack...cheap and just a gimmick to lure buyers over because Yamaha is all Meat and Potatoes without charging for Fancy Screens or useless Tubes that cost less than $20. and it is 160mb Rom of all their previous boards which arent impressive in comparison to the Mo which is 175mb rom and 512mb of sampling..the Triton is Still 96mb..why? because they didn't do shhhhht to their processor like they said otherwise they would have devised a completely new motherboard.....I hope Roland made they right changes to the Fantom X..probably not..but wow a color screen? Who Cares!!!

Korg blows in all respects and aspects. The Fantom-X was definitely designed properly. The 12AX7 tube, please. There's more conductivity in a cigarette lighter.

Actually I was goin to buy a Studio 61key just to have here in the Studio, I can afford it right now if I want it but wouldn't pay more for less quality than my Motif gives me!! Besides every WANNABEE producer bought a Triton first because Swizz used one or Dre...LOL...Why would I want to be a me too producer??? I always pick what I feel SOUNDS best!!! Regardless of cost!!
