WHICH ONE WOULD YOU GET?
i'm tempted on getting the sample kingz?
i heard that's a good one.
so does anyone know of any other good and IN DEPTH videos. i'm not looking for a heatamakerz or alchemist type of video... i want something that gets real technical.

Well u must gonna be gettin the sample kingz vidz for decoration. Dont spend your money on those dvds they are not worth it. You come out better reading the manual and asking questions on the forums. Hit up www.youtube.com for vidz. FREE that is.

so many members here learned with out a tutorial video. a few of us (myself included) learned with no manual, and no on to hold our hand through the learning process, but we managed. Im sure if you sit down and focus, read the manual, and get creative, you will get it. Plus youll be doing it your way, not the flowers sample kings way or whoever lol. do you bruh!

If I were stuck on an Island with my MPC the last thing I would worry about would be some **** video. I'd rather worry about samples

I'd be more worried about getting some... azz (female type that is).
And where are you going to get power for the MPC anyway?

between the manual, and screwing around with my MPC and being a member of this site since 2002 i have learnt sooo much. The extent of knowledge on this board is insane. i have hardly any posts considering ive been a member for so long.. its because i spend more time reading on here than asking.

If you got the time... (bored at work..?) check out every forum.. even if u dont have a 4000.. you'd be amazed what u can learn.

the sample kings video sucks. he doesnt do anything but show you how to load up the sounds you get with the vid & then does some basic sequencing using those sounds. its pointless & i was pissed that i spent money on it. thank god for ebay!

i dont imagine that ANY video is gonna really teach you the mpc.

you really should read the manual like everyone is suggesting but i know some cats just dont wanna do all of that. i know a lot of cats who really only know the basics like how to sample, how to trrim the sample, how to assign to a pad & how to save. they dont care about anything else. if thats you then do yourself a favor & at least read those parts of the manual for free rather than pay out the ass for some tutorial thats just gonna be some guy reading the manual to you with some motivational speeches thrown inbetween chapters

A friend of mine, bought this s**** and I've seen it. It's pointless!!
I know a lot of guys who only know only the basics too, and their sounds knock like pros.
Maybe you want more than a tutorial, but an "how to" to make good sounds and for that there are only your mind and creativity.
