We Should and Could.......

I think we should make our presence known to AKAI. We should ask them if we could work along with the person who is incharge of doing the os updates for the mpc1000 and work out ideas with whoever that person may be.

they do visit these forums, so i guess they know of some of the faults in the machine. that's not to mention the many group emails sent to them regarding this and that.

you may want to contact them in a professional manner to see if you can become a beta tester.

i also have some roland gear and mike accosta ( spelling ) the guy from all the roland demo videos is on mvnation all the time , they have support out there ass with roland.

i think akai men know about bugs before we do, and of course they are checkin the forum.
the only time i wrote to akai tech. support they answered the same day...
