2 more with Pops ??? Exactly what are you fellas doing to produce these pops?

Where did you purchase your 2500s from? If its not user error..maybe there is a bad batch of 2500s out there.

its obviously not a hardware issue seeing as the problem didnt come along until the new OS

Uh I don't know about the Software theory, If I'm not mistaken I've had this problem since OS 1.00. I was one of the people under the impression that the OS update would FIX this issue.

I'm quite sure there are others who can Co-Sign.

But it ain't about who's right or wrong so please let's not turn this into that.

Its still hard for me to believe that I am in the minority of people that don't have this problem. I even have my 12 y/o banging on the 2500 without any issues...

I've had absolutely no problems what so ever contacting Akai about any problems...I go to akaipro.com and click support and I get a response within 24 hours...now the responses are usually quick and to the point and not super detailed but they still answer me within a day...give me your questions and I'll email them...lol

You Know what I'm beginning to believe your theory on the bad batches what month did you get yours? I purchased mine in January.

I dont remember anyone posting anything about pops prior to the new OS

I also know that I didnt hear any from my machine before the new OS

but whatever I dont care when the problem came as much as I care about the solution

whats funny is I havent noticed the pops in some weeks now

Thanks!

My question is, why do their tech support suck?
