Actually, i just preped it for a project, looks kind of cool though. Just primer. I kind of like the understated look. For those who are planning to customize your mpc, i definatly recommed stripping it rather than sanding. Takes a fraction of the time

The 1k was fresh as hell, made me think of the ordinary MPC1000 as the Nokia 3310, and your MPC as Nokia 3330 :lol: (for those of you who remember)

paint thinnner or Laquer . stripping is ok to do,but your better off ,sanding if you know what your doing. Sanding helps for primer and paint to stick better than spraying over an already finished coat. Main thing is to remove old paint,dirt and grit put your primer on, a couple of coats on ,and then seal it with a Clear coat to lock and protect the paint from scratching. 8)

Never would have thought it would look that good with such basic colors! Kinda reminds me of a 2000xl, but cleaner and updated for the 21st century. I like it a lot!!!
