Pad Triggering

Where do I go about changing the way in which the pads trigger samples? For example, sometimes I want the whole sample to play and others I want the sample to play only while I am still touching the pads? Thanks.

go to mode program. click down to the sample and over to the volume area and hit window. change this to note on.
