i think this is different from the file corruption issue. this is just a setting when saving. different topic, I believe.

Yeah That was the problem all along I wish they would have included that sh@t in the manual I lost some platinum plaques behind this one alone. Ah fugg it charge it to being a MPC newbie

yes, I think this should be handled a little better, but for now, just select yes for 'replace same files' and you should be ok.

I do just one big save when I have finished a session for the most part. But if I was working for an extended period of time on a track...I would do an incremental backup...that only makes sense.

I think the save entire memory should default to replace file = yes, personally. thats how the 4000 does it.
