I love to sample music and chop it up, but I feel like it is a bit time consuming. I was wondering if you guys are doing it the same way I am. When I have my sample I hit Mode, Trim and then try and mess with the start and end numbers untill I get it right. but of course It always takes a little while because say the sample starts at 2900 then I change it to 100,000, but then its too far so I try 80,000 and so on and so on. Isn't there a way that I could trim buy just hearing the audio?

I dont use the mpc to chop samples unless if I have to - like if I take it somewhere and i do not have my laptop

normally use adobe audition 2.0

its very quick and easy. compared to other methods.
