Iv'e never seen a good paintning job of an MPC and i'm definetly not in to this one either. but. get the lettering on and you might surprise me, I doubt it but who knows.. I would never try something like this. you can't really reverse it.. And, i think it's a bit nerdy too.. hehe.

Not trying to devalue your opinion or anything... but your name is balls and your avitar is a picture of a weird white guy that looks like one of the three stooges. I'm not sure if you should be making judgements on what is nerdy and what isn't

I personally like the thickness of the coats on the side, looks marble like. But the rest kinda sucks that's just my personal opinion. what really gives this that unique look is the background setting ,which is good promotion. I can't knock that.

I guess if my avitar was a picture of a weird BLACK guy that looks like one of the three stooges, It'd be ok? And yes, I think that i CAN judge people on being nerdy for spending more time on painting their machines, than using them to make music. Do you paint your laptops and other gear too?? It's not THAT ugly.. Jesus.

white, black, man, woman... whatever... i was simply describing the dude in the picture. don't get offended because i said the word white. anyways, maybe you just don't understand why somebody would want to customize their drum machine. making beats, (and hip hop in general), is about having your own style and setting yourself apart from everybody else. Some people want their drum machine to look like THEIR drum machine... not like yours, not like his, not like anybody's. Some people could care less about whether or not it has letters on it.... and if they really spent as much time with as they should using it, they don't even need the letters anyways. Point being, you're entitled to your opinion on whether or not you like some one's attempt at trying to be different... but don't knock em for doing so.
