How do I use 2 programs in one sequence?

So what I'm tryin to do here is record with samples from to different programs, in the same sequence. I really do not get how this is done on my 2500, and I've searched my ass off at this place trying to find an answer. So if someone could hook me up with a link to sum thread where this is explained, or maybe drop a few lines about it here, that'd be great.

go to a new track and change it to whatever 2nd or so program u wanna use

Ah, of course, can't belive I didn't think of that. You saved my day..

Its the little things that can bug you the most.


On my old xl, it took me awhile before I even knew how to use swing on my hi-hats. It would piss me off so much.. then, I was playing around one day and saw the swing window.. opened it up..and boom... such a simple thing, but crucial...


Anyway. Just thought Id share that really quick. LOL.

Ajax: Well thanks for sharing, gotta admit I felt nearly retarded when Fist Full dropped that simple solution to my problem (I was expecting something like "program-settings this and that, window-shift-main-enter-yadayada"), but I guess shit happens.
