MPC 2000xl and Loading Time?

how is the speed of the 2000xl, for ex. its loading time, im tryna decide between this and the 1000 but im just wonderin how long things take to load on this machine

A sample of 862 kB, for example (equivalent to 10 seconds mono at 44.1 kHz) takes about 6 seconds to be loaded from a SCSI Jaz drive.
To load from a floppy drive takes about twice longer.

Loading speeds shouldn't be what you base your decision on when dropping $ on a MPC. If you got no other reason to choose one over the other, get the 1K.
