Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

i swear i've tried all three types of formats. i can format a disk in windows (XP) just fine, and put a file on there, but the MPC never sees the files...

i've tried formatting the disk in the MPC itself, but then when i go back to windows, it says "this disk is not formatted, format it now?"

i've read around on other boards, and someone mentioned that i need to have a FAT32 partition on my box in order for windows to read it (otherwise it just assumes every disk will be NTFS).

i reformatted my D:\ drive, so now it's FAT32 (my c:\ is still NTFS).

still no love... i'm beginning to think the zip drive itself, or maybe the one disk i have is wonked (freebie hand me downs from a friend).

i just want to verify with you guys... i want it to be FAT32, right?

nevermind. it was a bunk disk.

a roommate hooked me up with a spare zip disk, it's all good now.

:)
