Uhhmm, It 's not working.... Anyone try it yet? When I press window I get sent back to the sample pgm page. 16 levels still works though.

dumb ass question but how do you find the key a sample is in? i'm used to composing with reason so this is a big ass change

Right , I was in the 16 level window trying to open the tune option in there... weird place to put it why not just an auto button like in the 2000?The first place I looked was next to the purge ...habit Thanks for the straight answer no wise cracks .

I think it is where it is becaue autochromatic assign in this MPC is making a 64 pad program, with the same sample, and adjuting the tuning/pitch. Akai placed it in the section where you can adjust the pitch of the sample. Is this the best place to put it? I will leave this to the folks that plan on using this function often. As far as using the 2500 this way...a standalone sampler does a much better job at this...however, the 2500s newly added function is adequate.

anyone?

why i hit the keys on my Motif ES(mdi controller)...the notes seem to play to long. How do I change this........the duration of the notes using autochromatic assign :?:

adjust the endpoint of the original sample in trim and hit the keys until you get the desired sound.

use note on or one shot settings.
