hey could anyone take a pic of an inside of an mpc60 without scsi? I really need to look at the wiring. I uninstalled a scsi card and put it on another mpc60, and now that i tried re hooking up this other mpc60, it bugged out on me. it keeps blowing the 3.5amp fuse :-( i'm nots ure which cable i didn't hook up right.


please help!

The Linn instructions for installing the SCSI will show you all that you need :?

It shows you what connects where on the SCSI and that should be enough.
It not like the connectors are interchangable that you can plug a lot in the wrong place.

hrm everythiung looks about the same.

i did a little test, to figure out which module it was though. it's one of the 2 cables coming out of the area with the fuses. unplugged em all, then tested em all, to see which one made the fuse blow. weird. kind annoying too:-(

what could've happened? All i did was remove scsi on it, and replace the scsi on another mpc...

I know what you asked, the point was all you say you did was remove the SCSI so the instructions would show exactly what you should have connected and disconnected.
Unless you messed with something else that should have been enough.

? :( my mpc60 still messed up. u gh. blew the last fuse too... I wonder if there was a mod done. i t seems some of htew ires were redone up. I'm thinkin bout just sending it to forat. having him really nice it up, n having it ready sow hen i get back from europe in a few months i'll have a really **** nice mpc60:o hrmm...
