E-Book/1000

man, this looks sweet, i really can't wait to get my hands on it. $40 bucks really isn't a whole lot of dosh considering how much more enjoyable it will make my MPC use.

Just paid the bucks for the eBook.

If nothing else it supports the forum and having read the demo / example pages it seems well written and I am sure I will pick up more than a few tips from it.

I can think of worse things I have spent £23.99 on lol

Exactly, i went out last week and blew £100 on alcohol and a cheap hotel for the night. Got fvck all to show for that apart from a very unhealthy bank balance!

Just bought the book, even though i've got a 2500 almost everything in here is relevant to it. It's even got some basics on midi and audio routing which has cleared up some questions i had on it.

The book's great even though i've only read the first 40 pages. Even the stuff i know, i've read through it anyway and even done the tutorials on loading and saving, lol.

I'll post up more thoughts once i get into it a bit more but it's so far so good. If you're new to the 1000 or the 2500 DEFINITELY pick this up.

Ok after loading All the E-book files to the 1k, I thought it would be good in saving a whole lot of time. It's alot easier to pull up the tutorial files from the MPC 1k, then having to load them up everytime, and switching back and forth to read the manual,from the PC!. So be wise with your time.

Also like Spirez said most of this tutorial that's in this e-book,I already know to,but rereading over this book and doing the tutorial is more so a new learning experience and it's fun, it helps to sharpen the all ready know skills and attitude in working this machine. And I must certainly say
That MPC-Tutor has put in blood ,sweat ,and tears into this book! Great job! Tutor.

PS: I recommend loading the files to your MPC harddrive or CF card. if u have one.

Would I be able to print out the pages? Sounds like a dumb question but there are PDF files that won't allow you to print. Also, what format is this in? How do the samples work? Is there a link provided so that you can download the files?

The files come in the folder with the PDF document.

There's a load of seperate folders and when you read through the tutorial it will tell you which one to load etc. I tried this out and it's what convinved me to but it, iw oudlnt have learnt shit like this off my own back so soon.

You can print it if you want to, just take it to somewhere like staples and they'll print and bind it.

Copped it - a great piece of work, well worth 23 quid. Much props Tutor, clearly a deal of hard work went in to this. Anyone who thinks it is merely a rehash of forum posts needs to put the crack bottle down.
