Is there any way to take a song that is completely finished (turned into a sequence) and mix it down into a WAV or AIFF inside of the 2500. I'm new to this machine and I just want to bypass my computer as much as possible. Like is it possible to turn the song into a WAV or AIFF and burn a CD that you can hear your song on when you put it in a CD player? I read the manual over and over and I'm not seeing anything about this. Please help!!!

Thanks.

You couldn't have read it that well, lol.

Wow, I don't know, maybe I am an idiot. So after checking that out...I'm guessing the answer is no. So basically, to get my song out of the MPC, I have to connect it to an external recording device, such as my Firewire solo and to a program multi tracking program.

Is that what you're telling me? If so, I'm pretty bummed. I want a self contained unit!!!

Does the MV-8000 or MPC 4000 do this?

Thanks for putting up with the noob. When I know what's going on, I will pass on the wealth of knowledge I have learned!!!

Did you read the manuals as well additional info related to the two OS updates? Most likely..no.

You can create complete songs using the 2500 and resample these songs onboard the 2500 to turn them into wav files. With the CDM25 drive installed, you can burn these wav files to audio CD tracks.

I have to add that the MV-8000 is more of a self-contained studio in a box than any MPC.
