im new to this.. i recently bought my mpc2500 (never had an mpc before)
i just made a beat and saved it..
then i load my .prj file and the sequences are there..

i want to put them in one sequence and then convert them to mp3 or wav
and put it on my pc..

how do i convert it to mp3 or wav?

If youre mpc is hooked up to your computer, then why dont you just play the song into a recording program?


It will automatically record it as a wav... then you can change it to an mp3 if you want...

No real need to record it into your PC to make it a wav file. You can do this onboard the 2500. However, it doesn't convert files to MP3 so you will need a PC for that.

You really should read the manual for such a basic question.

However, you do this in the Record Menu (Press Mode + Pad 5). While in this menu, turn the INPUT to MAIN OUT. Then press the play/start button of th MPCs transport to start your sequence. Press F6 key for recording this sequence. Also, you can set the record lenghth in the same menu.
