Strange pad interference. Error

Does anybody had this problem?
My pad 12 makes sometimes sound my pad number 5. The samples are properly assigned one to each pad, but sometimes this error comes. No assignement error can be, it happens with all kits i try and configure.
And another error becomes when i wanna go on load mode. The machine seems to crash, but after a few seconds (20 or 30) it seem to start working properly again.
The machine is band new, so if u have some answers please tell me because i hate akai's technical support. I supose u know

thought i was the only one.

i returned it...after prooving it to the shop and a UK akai rep within the store.

for example, when i hit pad 2...it would trigger a sound of another pad.

this happened with both the built in kits and my own .wav samples.

i did post this problem up a few weeks ago...but no response.

i guess only some (very few) units have this issue.

akai UK had no answers to this problem.

at the time OS 1.02 was the latest thing...but the problem remained after going from 1.01 to 1.02.

to be honest, its a unit fault, not the OS.

if i were u, i would get a replacement as soon as possible.

use me as proof as well...if u must.

Yea man, this is not normal. You can be certain that your unit is defective, try to exchange it.

I think ROOP said that he bought two and sent one back, he wanted to keep the better one, in case one was faulty, am I correct?

Hi again. New OS 1.03 finish pad troubles. But a new one comes. The REC lead gets a bit iluminated when pressing the FULL LEVEL key. Not bad working consequences. Am I the only one?

No need to be worried about it. Apparently it happens when you are dropping a HOT beat, so you know it happens to ME all the time.
