mpc 2500 mtc sync to cubase sx 2.0

now that version 1.2 has midi time code (MTC), how do I sync the 2500 up with Cubase? So far i have the 2500; sync out: A (Master), mode: MIDI TIME CODE, frame rate: 25 and send MMC: on.
Cubase sync setup; timecode source: MIDI Timecode, machine control: MIDI Machine Control, midi timecode settings: E-DSP MIDI Port 2

now in cubase I create a audio track and arm it.
on the mpc I have loaded a finished sequence, so I hit play and nothing happens in cubase.
I know all the cables are right because I can sync with midi clock (MPC being the slave) with no problem, but I want the MPC to be the Master.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong????

You need to go to "Sync Setup" under the Transport menu.

Enable MIDI Timecode as the Timecode source, and select the correct midi input channel for your MPC.

Then enable "Sync Online" in the Transport menu.

Cubase should now sync to the MPC.

NOTE: You need to set the tempo manually in Cubase as MIDI Timecode does NOT transmit tempo information.

Not at all, it can be master or slave.

You can even set it up both ways. So that both the MPC and Cubase act as Master AND Slave. Sounds wierd, but it works.
