1st MPC??

ok well im starting to save up for an MPC, all i want is to Sample sounds from a vinyl then thorw drum, kicks, hits on, and send it to my PC. now wat MPC do i get... im thinking of 1000, cuz ima beginer, and 1000 is the cheapest.

so what MPC is good to start with?? for sampling, and putting together beats??

def a 1000 if thats all you want to do its fine but just know it offers so much more and you will be more than happy with a 1000.

you can get a classic 2k cheaper then the 1k
actually both run for about the same on ebay, id go with tha 2k

he said able to trasnsfer files from pc , so if you want that def go witht he 1000 plus its faster and has more standard upgrades than a 2k classic.

wow you should really go to the akai home page seems like you dont know much about the mpc at all. I would suggest doing a little reading of the manual ( its a free download just to get a feel for some of the features ) or check out some of the free videos of people making tracks on www.youtube.com with the mpc1000 and yes it samples ANY audio signial turntable , dvd , vcr , tv, video games , mics , computer , radio or anything else that has a audio level.
