Hey, so heres the deal, ive got this old keyboard, and everythings all hooked up, all i want to do is hook it up to my akai mpc 2000 and my zoom mrs-1044cd recorder, what type of cables, do i need to do that. Also will my keyboard even hook up to anything other than a computer, on the back of the board there are slots for MIDI IN, AND OUT, an ASSIGNABLE JACK, and a Headphones Jack? Where would I plug the cord up to, for the recording studio? And no I do not have a manual for the keyboard. Thanks All! 1.

You aren't exactly clear with what you've said, but from what I can make out it sounds like you want to record the keyboard sounds onto the zoom recorder, right?

If so, you will need a couple of audio cables (probably 1/4" jack, check the connections) which will plug into the outputs of the keyboard, and then go into the inputs of the zoom recorder.
If you want to record the Mpc onto the zoom you will need to do the same as above.

Now you mentioned midi. This could get quite complicated depending on what you want to do. Do you want to sequence the keyboard via the MPC?
