yeah man, same ish...i can open up 2500 files on the 1000 and vice versa

navi - when you save a project in the 2500 to the 1000, are the additional features used in the 2500 lost when you open/resave it after working in the 1000? good for future reference...

Yes, only cosmetic, although it seems that the black ones have hell of problems, not that it should effect this though.

ant...hmmmf...that a good question...imma try to check that out...but really, what features could be used on the 2500 that we dont got on the 1k?? i mean, as far as playing the sequence originally formatted on the 2500..imma peep it..

He pretty much answered his own question. But why didnt he just look at the specs for the black mpc1000 or the threads talking about if they were different or not?
