if ur talking to me yes, i'm sure! I had a 1000 with 128 mb before and now i have the 2kxl with 32.. still making beats with the same amount of samples etc. Yes i work weith midi alot too... but i always resample into the mpc for arranging and ish.... and believe me i have LOTS of samles/sounds in my beats! I just chop SMALL and don't really need to have more... yeah maybe for my dj so i can record long scratches but the pc does that now... no problem.
