MPC RECORDING

Having a problem here, When i am bangn a beat out on the pads it sounds great.. Then when i record it , the mpc puts the beats at a different spot making it sound like crap. swing is currently at 50% which is 0 swing right? because its 50% in between the other beat?

Any ideas on how to fix it , hope its not a faulty mpc.

You have to set the Quantize to the proper setting.

maybe try changing it to 1/8th notes instead of 1/16 or 1/32.

other than that.... i dunno.

its one of the first two function buttons under the screen. i forget.

Your question was answered the first time you asked it. By your more detailed description of the problem I can say that the ones to listen to is Antonym and Pad-ophiliac, not me or Rickrock305.
It´s Time correction that needs to be disabled.

aw sorry about the double question , i was on my way out when i posted the first time , and could not find it when i got back so i assumed it did not go threw.

when mpc1000 and g5 connected thru mixer i get a real bad underneath sound hummin.... when i record sample hummin thru it...

Distantb, did you upgrade the OS on your MPC?

All I know is I was having issues with the quality of the loop, and the upgrade fixed that brain melting B.S. That almost caused grey hairs in me.
