How do i chop samples ?

hi folks,

i need help, cauze i don´t know how i chop i.e. a 20 sec long sample into 4 5sec sample. how do i set each sample on a pad ? sry about my english.

so thanks foe the posts up there. i read it really carefully, but there is still a question. i loaded my sample hit the trim mode/znEDIT. now i marked the sample, where i need. so which button should i use to get in on a new pad ?

I read damn near everything cause I don't have anything else to do most of the time. I always hit "view post since last visit" so I hardly miss anything.

ich hab die 2000XL und weiss jetzt nicht genau wie es bei der 2000 läuft.

Du hast dein Sample und geht in den Zone Mode (SHIFT+5 und dann Zone)
Markier Zone ( oben rechts ) und drücke dann open Window.
Es sollte dann dort Number of Zones stehen wo du deine Anzahl von gewünschten Zones angeben kannst.

Drück edit, end Mergin z.B. 30 (gute Einstellung), DO It und fertig sind deine chops.
