Eprom chip 3.11 For MPC3000

Not having any luck finding a Eprom chip for my MPC. Every ave. I travel is a dead end. I don't wanna give my baby up, but if I can't upgrade it I'm gonna have to. Please help a brother out.

I have some, sent you a pm. I'm looking high and low for the 3000 vga board. I've called everywhere, and no luck. I've got cold cash if anyone has one!

i have 3.11 rom chips. if youre near NY hit me up.

Note ... users who upgraded to 3.16 ROM's will have spare 3.11 chips lying around.

A dump of my MPC3000LE's 3.11 images resides in the files area of the mpc3000 list at yahoogroups.

For this very purpose.

Look fellow Australian ... It is not open source.

You do that with my work and I WILL take legal action against you.

The floppy version of 3.16 is free to download and use.

If you want/need 3.16 in ROM then support the fact that someone on this planet gives a shit enough about continuing to develop for these machines.

Nope ... Mike Goins is the "owner of MIDICASE" and the host for download purposes of "my MPC3000 software update product" that gets given away for free as a floppy boot version.

Good ... just remember that you shouldn't offer to try duplicating some-one elses work without their express permission.

The 3.11 OS images are in the files area of the MPC3000 group of yahoo. Feel free to grab them. They represent the ROM image versions of AKAI's last public FLOPPY boot release.

Mike Goin's owns the site and is responsible for a large part of content including the MPCEDITOR software which he writes.

I am the owner/developer of the MPC3000 operating system updates post version 3.12 and thank Mike over and over for providing download bandwidth for same.

I got 3.11 OS chips for you. I bought the 3.16 OS on EPROMS from Rohan and it's tight. I won't charge you for the 3.11 chips, if you want 'em, PM me with your shippin info and I'll drop 'em in the mail.

they only just make a bigger version of whats on the screen though, nothing fancy

Thanks, I tried cimple spares and even though they list them on the site, they don't have them. Sound logic is out too. I realize it is only a bigger version of what's on the screen, that would still help me. If any one wants to part with one, I'll pay top dollar. If your not using it, pull it out of your 3000, I'll even send the blank panel to fill the gap left on the back of the 3000. I've got paypal! THANKS

I dealt with those guys once and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I'd be pretty suprised if they would go out of their way to help me with that, but I guess anything is worth a try. Thanks again AM.
