thinking about selling it. I'm not a DJ, never will be, the only reason I have the mixer is for sampling/preamp purposes, I recently was given a cheap equalizer. I would connect the 1200 turntable directly to the MPC (the quality ain't bad, level is high with rec gain only halfway up, there's slight hiss that's only noticeable when there's no music playing), but I don't want to put the TT right next to the MPC, which I would have to do since the phono plugs are only so long. So...I'm thinking of selling the mixer (could probably get around $250 for it), picking up a cheap $50 phono preamp, and maybe use some of the leftover money to buy some nice studio moniter headphones.

Is there any reason you can think of that I shouldn't do this?
