Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I'm gonna be flying with my MPC and zip disks next month.

How can I protect my disks so that all the information doesn't get wiped when they go through the x ray machine?

my disks and cf cards have gone through the xray machine on flight so many times and nothing has happened to them, in a regular floppy case, in a suitcase, in a carry on bag you name it. I've never had a problem.

As lampdog said The X-ray machines won't do anything to your zip disks.
The only danger to recorded media or cf cards is from the metal detector that you walk through. But you aint gonna have any stuff in your pockets when you go through so your safe.

Yeah, that's right.
