and he uses the 808 claps a lot. like on every song (the bass drum too). i really like some of his songs but its really obvious people wil get sick of that same production over and over. for now i like it tho
now, if youve got any samples at all you gotta have something to put together ONE single nice kick.. look, take a really shi††y vinyl sounding kick. on the same pad stick an 808 bass drum sample. play with their volumes until they mix well. then turn on the bit grunger. set it to like 2 or 3 and YOU WILL BE GOOD TO GO I PROMISE YOU
if your bass drum part is good, then that kind of sound will work for 90% of your beats. or you can make some original sounds for each song (unlike lil jon). if your bass drum aint happening musically no sound out there will fix it. lil jons shit just has that sick sound the way he writes parts so he gets away with reusing ideas. ill stop babbling now
